JASON WILLIAMSON

Jason is one of the top anglers on the pro bass fishing circuit. Hailing from Wagener, South Carolina, he raises four children with his wife Macie. When he’s not killing it with his bass fishing, he loves racing and spending time with his family.

How did you get your start in fishing?

I remember as a very young child my Dad taking me to the lake every single weekend going fishing. I fished my first tournament at 15 years old. I won that tournament and had big fish! I had a true passion for the outdoors. That tournament sparked a fire and burning passion for tournament bass fishing that continues to burn today as I am in my 14th year of professional bass fishing.

On a daily basis, what's the most challenging part of your fishing career?

The hardest part, for me, of being a professional angler is [spending] time away from family. Being gone for weeks at a time makes it very hard. With all the travel that comes along with this career, sometimes it’s difficult to find a balance between family and fishing.

For how long have you been using Blue Otter Polarized lenses?

 2.5 years!

What are your favorite lenses to use?

My favorite pair of Blue Otters are the Oconee frame with the Palm Green lenses.

What do you like about Blue Otter lenses?

For me, it’s all about clarity. Carl Zeiss lenses are the purest form of polarization that I’ve ever worn.
